When you tell VP Backup to back up more than one database and/or directory,
the backup processes are executed in top-down order, as displayed on your
VP Backup Service screen. The file upload process must ALWAYS
be the last process to be executed. You
can choose to re-order the remaining backup processes, as long as the
file upload process is at the end.
When you create a new process, VP
Backup adds it to the list just above your file upload process.
To re-order your backup process list:
Open the VP Backup Service application.
If the ViewPoint icon ( ) appears
in the status area of your taskbar, usually the lower right-hand corner
of your screen, double-click the
icon to open the VP Backup Service application.
If the ViewPoint icon ( ) is
NOT on your taskbar, you must
first activate
VP Backup Service,
then double-click the icon.
Click the process
name that you want to move. You may then move the process on one
of these ways:
Simply click the {Move Up} or {Move
Down} icons on the VP Backup Service toolbar.
Right-click the process
name and select {Move
Up} or {Move Down}.
Select {Processes}
then {Move Up} or{Move Down} from the
menu at the top of the screen.
Remember, you must have a file
upload process
at the END of your processes
list in order for your backup files to be stored in a safe location.
