Set Up Notepad Tab Captions

Use the Tab Caption Editor to name the tabs of your ViewPoint notepads so that you can categorize the types of notes you take. All patient, professional and insurance notepads share the same captions.

How to Get Here

• Open a ViewPoint notepad > Tab Caption Editor.

   

  Open any ViewPoint notepad for a patient, dentist, referrer, other professional, or insurance company. See "Use Notepads" for details. Then click Tab Caption Editor on the notepad toolbar.

Choose Your Settings

• Tab captions - Type names for your notepad pages. You may modify the names of tabs 2 - 6. Tab 1 is reserved for General notes; Tab 7 is reserved for Patient History Notes . The Patient History Notes tab is used for the Complete Patient History form, and is not available to professional or insurance notepads.

• Save - Click Ok to save your changes and exit, or Cancel to exit without making any changes.

Notice!

• Editing the captions -  If you change the tab captions, the changes immediately take effect in all ViewPoint notepads.
