Use the Transaction Group table to create groups of miscellaneous charges that should always be posted together.
Create miscellaneous charges - Use the Transaction Type table to create individual miscellaneous charge descriptions. See "Set Up Transaction Types" for details.
ViewPoint main menu > System Tables > Financial > Transaction Group.
Choose Record to Work With - Your list of existing records appears at the left. Click the record to work with. The details for that record appear at the right.
Create new record - Click New, then type a description. You can then edit your new record to complete the details. Note that once created, you cannot change the name of the group.
Edit details - Select a record to work with, then place a checkmark beside the individual miscellaneous charges you want to include in the group. The summary at the right shows you the total amount that will be charged when the group is posted to a patient's account.
Delete a charge group - Select the record you want to remove and click Delete, then confirm your action. Any previously posted transactions are not affected.
Save your changes - Click
