Transaction Type List; Transaction Type List - Comprehensive

Run the Transaction Type List report to review the descriptions to use when posting financial transactions. The report is grouped by category, and includes the description, insurance code, and default amount (if any). Adjustment transaction types also include the assigned transaction adjustment classification.

Get Started

Create transaction list - Create and maintain your list of miscellaneous charges, adjustments, and other transactions with the Transaction Type table. See "Set Up Transaction Types" for details. If you will be assigning classifications to adjustment transactions (most commonly used with Gaidge integrations), you will also need to create the Transaction Adjustment Classifications table. (See "Set Up Transaction Adjustment Classification Descriptions" for details.)

ViewPoint Main Menu - Practice Reports > Audit or Table > Transaction Type List or Transaction Type List - Comprehensive. (The "Comprehensive" report lists both active and inactive records in your system. The table report (without "Comprehensive") includes only active records.)

Run This Report

Manage output - After selecting the report, choose to print, view, or export the results. See "Manage Record Selection & Output" for details.

Alternate report - You can also run the Miscellaneous Charge List to obtain a list of miscellaneous charge descriptions only, instead of all transaction types. See "Miscellaneous Charge List" for details.
