Doctor Time Report

Run a Dr. Time report to review both the total and average amount of time the orthodontist spent attending patients for each type of procedure completed within your date range, according to the data you collect as you process patients through your On-Deck system.

Doctor time is calculated from the data collected as you process patients into and out of the "Dr. is Here" status. If the doctor attends the patient multiple times during a single appointment (and you properly process the patient as "Dr. is Here" and "Dr. is Not Here" for each of those segments), the time spent in each "Dr. is Here" segment is added together to get the total doctor time  for that procedure.

• Process On-Deck patients - You must use the On-Deck processing features regularly to obtain accurate data for this report. See "Update On-Deck Operatory" for details.

• ViewPoint main menu > Practice Reports > On-Deck > Dr. Time - Date Range report.

Run This Report

Select the options to use for choosing records and generating this report or form. Choose carefully, as your selections will affect which patients are included in the report.

• Start / End Dates - Choose the range of dates to include on this report, or select a single date for both the Start Date and End Date fields to run the report for an individual date. You can type a date in the fields, or click the dropdown button to select a date. Your selected date or date range will appear just under the report title when you view your report; if you select a date that is not today, this date will be different than the run date that appears in the report header.

• Office - Choose to include only the records for a specific office, or include the records for all office locations in your practice.

• Orthodontist - Choose to include only the records for a specific orthodontist, or include the records for All orthodontists in your practice.

Notice

• Report Title & Header - Whether you view the report on your screen or print it, the report title and run date appear in the header of each report page. If you used subgrouping or other report options, the subgroup description appears just under the report title so you know which criteria was used to generate the results. In addition, the report header can optionally include the exact subgroup criteria used to generate the report, instead of just the subgroup description.
