Set Up Edge Reminders Configuration

Use the Configuration tab of the Setup & Maintenance options to identify your practice, set up your telephone message protocol and enable / disable real-time Edge Reminders text messaging on your machine.

Click to OpenViewPoint Main Menu -  Tools & Utilities > Outbound Integration > Setup & Maintenance.

Click to OpenViewPoint Toolbar - Edge Reminders > Setup and Maintenance. (If the Edge Reminders option is not available, you first need to activate your Edge Reminders integration. See "Activate Edge Reminders Integration" for details.)

Click to OpenViewPoint Shortcut Menu - Add-In > Edge Reminders > Setup and Maintenance. (If the Edge Reminders option is not available, you first need to activate your Edge Reminders integration. See "Activate Edge Reminders Integration" for details.)

Choose Your Settings

Click to OpenSet Up Configuration Fields - Use the Configuration tab of the Setup & Maintenance options to identify your practice, set up your telephone message protocol and enable / disable real-time Edge Reminders text messaging on your machine.

Click to OpenUpload Configuration - Once you have completed the configuration fields, click Upload Configuration to send your settings to the Edge Reminders server.

Click to OpenCreate / Edit Messages - Click Reminder Editor to work with your reminder messages. See "Set Up Edge Reminders Messages " for details.

Click to OpenSchedule Automated Reminders - Click Scheduled Job Setup to work with your automated reminder messages. See "Set Up Scheduled Reminders" for details.

Use This Feature

Click to OpenPreview & Test Your Messages - Enter an appropriate phone number in the Test # field, then click Test SMS to initiate a test your Edge Reminders text messages, or Test Phone Message to hear a sample message. Note that standard message rates will apply.

Click to OpenCheck Setup - Click Check Authentication to be sure your system can communication with the servers that send Edge Reminders phone calls and e-mail messages. Please contact Ortho2 if this test fails.

Click to OpenView / Print Report - Open the Edge Reminders Report window to review how many of each type of Edge Reminders messages have been sent, and to listen to any responses patients have left. See "Edge Reminders Message History" for details.
