Print Mailing Labels & Quick Labels

Run standard labels or Quick Labels to generate mailing labels or customized labels for your patients, charts, responsible parties, dentists, referrers, professionals, office contacts, and insurance companies. Most ViewPoint labels can be printed by clicking a button from a patient folder page or a system table, as well as from the Practice Reports > Labels section of the ViewPoint main menu.

Custom Labels - Run a Custom label to generate customized labels for your patients. The label auto-fills with the patient's name, identification number, birthdate, attending orthodontist, and any medical alerts. Dentist Labels - Run a Dentist mailing label or quick label to generate a label that includes the dentist's name and address. The Dentist labels are formatted to print on standard 8.5" x 11" mailing label paper, 3 labels across and 10 labels down, and the quick labels are formatted to print on single-column label paper with an approved printer. Family Labels - Run Family mailing labels to generate labels that include the name and address from the Family tab of your patient folders for any group of patients. If multiple patient folders and non-patient records are linked to a single family name, only one label will print for that family. The Family labels are formatted to print on standard 8.5" x 11" mailing label paper, 3 labels across and 10 labels down.See "Family Labels" for details.

Insurance Company Labels - Run an Insurance Company mailing label or quick label to generate a label that defaults to including the insurance company name and address, but can be customized as needed. The Insurance Company labels are formatted to print on standard 8.5" x 11" mailing label paper, 3 labels across and 10 labels down, and the quick labels are formatted to print on single-column label paper with an approved printer.See "Insurance Company Labels" for details.

Office Contact Labels - Run an Office Contacts quick label to generate a label that includes the company name, the contact name, and address. The quick labels are formatted to print on single-column label paper with an approved printer.See "Office Contacts Quick Labels" for details.

Patient - Barcode Labels - Run a Patient Barcode label or quick label to generate a label that includes the patient's name and associated barcode.The Patient-Barcode labels are formatted to print on standard 8.5" x 11" mailing label paper, 3 labels across and 10 labels down, and the quick labels are formatted to print on single-column label paper with an approved printer.See "Patient Barcode Labels" for details.

Patient - Chart Labels - Run a Patient Chart quick label to generate a label that by default includes the patient's name, primary ID code, birthdate, orthodontist, and date printed. The labels are formatted to print on single-column label paper with an approved printer. You may customize the information that appears on your chart labels at any time.
