You can select whether you can assign assistants and chair locations at the time a patient is flagged as "Seated" in your operatory.
ViewPoint main menu > Daily Activities > On-Deck Operatory > Properties.
Open General tab - Click to open the General properties tab.
Password & Sound settings - The top portion of the window defines your sign-in password, and sounds that a patient may hear when signing into your office. See "Set Up Sign-In Password & Sounds" for details about these sign-in settings.
Assign assistant when patient is seated- Enable this option if you want to be able to assign the assistant to a patient appointment at the time the patient is seated. Otherwise, the assistant selected when the appointment was first scheduled will be used.
Assign chair when patient is seated- Enable this option if you want to be able to identify the chair when a patient is seated. Otherwise, the chair assigned when the appointment was first scheduled will be used.
