Financials - Your patients' financial obligations can be allocated among multiple responsible parties and insurance plans. ViewPoint tracks all contract and non-contract fees and payments, and contrasts the expected amount of treatment completed with the financial obligation completed. See "Patient Financials & Insurance" for details.

Insurance - One of the keys to a healthy practice is maintaining accurate, well-organized insurance records. ViewPoint provides both paper-based and electronic tools to help you track, bill, and maintain your insurance records. See "About Patient Insurance" for details.

Mail Merge - You can send mail merge documents to patients, responsible parties, and professionals in your ViewPoint system. You can choose to view, print, capture, or email the document immediately, or send the output to a queue to be reviewed and processed at a more convenient time.  See "Mail Merge" for details.

Messaging - Use VP Messaging to send instant messages to one or more ViewPoint users. The message will appear on the recipient's screen, just under the ViewPoint toolbar, several seconds after you send it. If the user is not currently logged in, the message will be placed on hold until the user logs into ViewPoint. See "VP Messaging" for details.

VP Reminder - VP Reminder provides an efficient system for contacting your patients with automated messages, such as upcoming appointment reminders, office events, and birthday greetings. The messages may be delivered via telephone, email, or text message. See "VP Reminder" for details.

Edge Reminders - Edge Reminders is an easy-to-use, efficient system for automating your patient reminders. Reminders can be sent via multiple message options including phone, text message, and/or email for any range of upcoming appointment dates. Messages can also be sent for recall reminders, birthday greetings, and more. Patient responses are automatically synched with the Grid Scheduler and there’s no minimum monthly charge.

Patient Folders - The patient folder contains several pages of information, including demographic and biographical data, findings and treatment records, responsible party, insurance, and financial details, and professional links. ViewPoint patient applications make collecting, retrieving, and using this information consistent and efficient. Use the tabs at the top of the patient folder window to go to other pages of the patient folder.  See "Patient Folders" for details.

Patient Treatment - With the ViewPoint treatment findings, planning, and charting tools you can manage and track all the details regarding your patients' treatment. See "Patient Treatment" for details.

Patient Rewards - Use the Patient Rewards feature of your ViewPoint system to calculate points and track rewards you offer as incentive to motivate patient attendance, treatment cooperation, oral hygiene, and more.Patients can trade the points they earn by completing common treatment activities for prizes from your office. This use of positive reinforcement helps motivate patients to be prompt to their appointments, scheduling their next appointment while in the office, filling out online forms, and even keeping their six-month dental checkup. It’s easy to start using this system with every patient, including recall patients. Patients use customized cards to keep track of their points each time they sign in. VP Imaging - VP Imaging, available to all ViewPoint users, provides a way to store and present your patient photographs, X-rays, models and other graphical objects. You can upload any number of images for your patients, categorized by image type. Example image types include Facial Smiling, Facial Resting, Intraoral, and Lateral Ceph. Sets of images taken at a specific point in treatment are saved together as timepoints. When you review images from different timepoints, you have a clearer picture of treatment progress. Sharing patient images with patients, parents, dentists and other professionals is easy, too. You can print a single image or an entire layout, copy images to other applications, include images in mail merge documents and insert images as email attachments.  See "VP Imaging" for details.

Edge Imaging - Edge Imaging, available to ViewPoint users for a fee, is a powerful tool with time-saving features and easy customization that helps you manage patient photos, x-rays, and other graphical objects. You can upload any number of images for your patients, categorized by image type and timepoint. Smart drag and drop features provide unlimited photo layouts, and sharing patient images with patients, parents, dentists and other professionals is easy, too. In addition, original files are retained, and an unlimited undo command is included so you don't need to worry about correction errors. See "Edge Imaging" for details.

SmartCeph - Use SmartCeph cephalometric tracing tools and analysis options to trace your patients' lateral cephalometric images, analyze the results, and plan and present your case. See "Introduction to SmartCeph" for details.

On-Deck and Sign-In - Your On-Deck Operatory works in conjunction with your Sign-In module to show you the patients that have signed into your office, the current progress of each appointment procedure, and which patient should be attended next by each assistant and orthodontist. Online Forms - Online Forms provide a way for patients to fill out forms electronically, and a way for you to use that data in patient folders, merge letters and subgroups. Your online forms can be of any type (health history, office questionnaire, outpatient interview, etc.). Your system initially includes a new patient health history form. You can request additional customized forms for a fee. In addition, you can include your own logo at the top of all online forms. See "Online Forms" for details.
