Your HR Manager requires a certain amount of set up to work properly.
Confirm you use a supported operating system- Microsoft Windows Vista Business, Windows Vista Ultimate, or Windows XP Professional (Service Pack 2 or 3).
Confirm Microsoft .NET Framework - Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 (available for download from www.microsoft.com/net/) is required for HR Manager. If you would like to see what, if any, version of Microsoft .NET Framework you have currently installed, you can check Add/Remove Programs.
Manual download - Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 is available for download. Simply visit www.microsoft.com/net/.
Auto-Download - Alternately, the first time you launch HR Manager, Windows will detect if you do not have the framework installed and automatically direct you to a download page. Then, once you have Microsoft .NET Framework installed, staying current on your Windows updates will ensure you have the necessary service pack (SP1).
Change ViewPoint CD key - Each workstation that runs HR Manager needs an updated ViewPoint CD Key. Your Ortho2 support representative will help you enter the correct code.
Create employee merge letters - You can use mail merge to send personalized correspondence to employees
