Use Quick Message to send a message to any email address you have stored in
VP Reminder Setup - The Quick Message feature uses your VP Reminder settings to process and send email messages. (See "Set Up VP Reminder E-Mail Options" for details.) If you do not use VP Reminder, the Quick Message feature is not available to you. However, if you use Edge Reminders, the Quick Message feature is replaced by the Quick Text feature. (See "Text Patients & Responsible Parties" for details.)
Patient Folder - Patient or Responsible tab contact field > QM.
To / From - Select to send the message to any email address available to the patient folder. The message will be sent from the address specified in your VP Reminder email settings. (See "Set Up VP Reminder E-Mail Options" for details.)
Subject / message body- Enter a subject and text for your message. Note that Quick Message does not merge any patient data from ViewPoint.
Create E-mail Trace Log - Enable this option to create a log of emails that are not successfully delivered. See "Use the E-mail Error Log" for details.
Send - Click Send to process the message immediately. Quick Message uses your VP Reminder settings to process and send email messages. (See "Set Up VP Reminder E-Mail Options" for details.)
