Use the E-Mail Error Log to identify the reasons why VP Reminder email messages and Quick Message email messages were not delivered successfully.
Enable error log - Use the E-mail tab of your Setup & Maintenance options to enable the Create E-Mail Trace Log option. You can also enable the option whenever you send a Quick Message.
View immediately - The log will automatically appear on your screen immediately after an unsuccessful attempt to submit an email message.
View later - View the most recently-compiled list of email message errors by opening the VP Reminder Log.txt file that is found in the folder where ViewPoint is installed (often, this folder is /ortho2).
File overwritten - Each time you initiate an email message and an error occurs, the system overwrites the VPReminderLog.txt file, replacing it with the new error information.
