Set Up Scanner Options

Select the devices to use when you perform certain scanning actions from this computer workstation. You can optionally be prompted for the scanner before initiating a scanning action. 

Get Started

Install Scanning Device(s) - Confirm that you have properly installed your scanning device(s), and that they are available to this computer workstation.

Choose Your Settings

1. Open Edge Imaging Scanner Options File ribbon bar > Edge Imaging Options > Scanner.

   Select Edge Imaging Options from the File ribbon bar.

   

   Choose the Scanner options.

   

2. Choose Your Settings All scanner options are machine settings: All users that log onto this computer workstation use the same settings. However, other workstations in your network can have different settings.

   Imaging scanner - Choose which scanning device or system to activate automatically when you initiate an image scan from this machine. If you do not select a scanner here, the device you select the first time you scan an image will become the default scanner. (See "Scan Patient Images" for details.)

3. Save Your Changes - Click Ok at the bottom of the window to save your changes.
