Install / Load Online Forms Viewer

You can install the Online Forms Viewer on any workstation that has ViewPoint installed, then use the Viewer to launch online forms without having to open your entire ViewPoint system. For example, you might install the Forms Viewer on a laptop or other workstation in your reception area to provide a convenient place for patients to fill out new forms and update their health histories.

Get Started

Forms Viewer requirements - Any workstation that you wish to use to create and update online forms must have certain minimum specifications.

• ViewPoint 6.0 (or greater). Although ViewPoint must be installed on the workstation, it does not need to be running in order to use the Forms Viewer.

• Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 (or greater). If not already present, it is automatically installed during the installation of the OII Forms Viewer.

• Active internet connection.

Choose Your Settings

Choose Forms Viewer Plug-In - Go to the ViewPoint Main Menu and select Plug-Ins. Choose the Forms Viewer Install option.

Install Forms Viewer - Click Install to start the installation process. If you see a security warning, be sure to confirm the installation. After installation, the viewer is loaded onto your workstation, indicated by the Forms Viewer icon in your system tray.

Use This Feature

Load Forms Viewer - If the Forms Viewer icon is not in your system tray, it is not currently loaded on your workstation. To load it, click the Start button on your worktation, and type OII Forms Viewer in the search box to start the program. You may want to add a desktop shortcut to facilitate loading the viewer on your machine.

Launch Online Forms - With the Forms Viewer loaded on your workstation, double-click or right-click the icon, and select Launch New Form. Sign in with your ViewPoint user name and password (blank passwords are not allowed), and select the appropriate form action to initiate. (See "Fill Out an Online Form " for details.)

Exit Forms Viewer - To close the Forms Viewer, right-click the Forms Viewer icon in your system tray, and choose the Exit option.
