Click Tools & Utilities then Subgroup Design from the ViewPoint main menu to open the Subgroup window.
Double-click the name of the subgroup template you want to modify, or create a new template. See "Create & Manage Subgroups" for details about subgroup templates.
Click the Advanced button at the bottom of the Edit Template screen .
Fine-tune your subgroup criteria.
Move criteria up and down in the list. ViewPoint tests criteria from the top down.
Create precedence groups, to be tested first as a unit.
Delete [Precedence groups, so that the criteria are again tested in simple top-down order.
As ViewPoint performs a subgroup, items grouped with precedence are tested first as a unit, then criteria are tested from the top down, according to the AND or OR notation listed with the requirement above it.
When you are satisfied with the order in which ViewPoint will test your criteria, click Ok] to save your changes and exit.
