Expand the display until the desired field is visible.
Double-click
the field you want to include in your subgroup to see a screen similar
to the one below.
(In the example below, we first expanded the
-Patient category, then the -Biographical
sub-category, then we finally double-clicked the {Tag}
field.)
Enter the text to evaluate
for your
subgroup.
ViewPoint does not
evaluate text that occurs either before or after a
percent sign (%). For
example, if you type there response A%
, any response that begins with the letter A
is considered a match, no matter what, if anything, occurs after the letterA.
Select
the operation to use:
Equal To Choose
Equal To when you want your subgroup
to include records that exactly match your {Text}
field.
.
Not Equal To Choose
Not Equal To when you want your
subgroup to include records that do NOT match your {Text}
field.
.
Greater Than Choose
Greater Than when you want your
subgroup to include records that fall alphabetically after, but do not
match, your
{Text} field. . Less
Than Choose
Less Than when you want your subgroup
to include records that fall alphabetically before, but do not match,
your {Text}
field.
. Greater
Than or Equal To Choose
Greater Than or Equal To when
you want your subgroup to include records that either exactly match or
fall alphabetically after your {Text} field.
. Less
Than or Equal To Choose
Less Than or Equal To when you
want your subgroup to include records that either exactly match or fall
alphabetically before your {Text} field.
.
When evaluating a text response, ViewPoint considers numerals first,
then letters. Upper/lower
case does NOT matter. You may
alter the use of the criteria with the NOT
operator. In
our example, the subgroup would include patient folders that have a patient
tag field that falls alphabetically on or after the text may03.
CheckNot
to reverse the meaning of the selected operator, if appropriate.
Click [Ok]
to add the response to your subgroup and return to the summary screen.
Finally, check AND
or OR in the subgroup
summary to indicate how this criteria should relate to the criteria directly
above it.
