To subgroup by a response that is listed in a ViewPoint table:
Expand the display until the desired field is visible.
Double-click
the field you want to include in your subgroup to see a screen similar
to the one below.
(In the example below, we first expanded the
-Referrer category, then the -Biographical
sub-category, then we finally double-clicked the {Full
Name} field.)
The left side of the screen
lists all available responses. The right
side of the screen indicates the responses you have already selected.
Click
the response(s)
in the Available Selections that you want to test for in your subgroup.
In our
example, we have selected Dr. Arnold Becker
and Dr. Roger Beese.
Click the [
> ] button to add all selected responses to the
Selected Items box.
To remove a response from the Selected Items list, click
the response, then click the [ < ]
button.
Select
how you want ViewPoint to test the response(s):
Equal To indicates that you want your subgroup
to include records that have the
selected response(s).
Not Equal To indicates that you want to exclude
records that have the selected response(s).
In our example, the subgroup would include patient folders that have
either Dr. Arnold Becker
or Dr. Roger Beese
as the assigned referrer.
Click [Ok]
to add the response to your subgroup and return to the summary screen.
Finally, check AND
or OR in the subgroup
summary to indicate how this criteria should relate to the criteria directly
above it.
To remove a response from the Selected Items list, click
the response, then click the [ < ]
button.
